Short RPGs for people with no time
There's a myth that RPGs demand a huge time commitment. On mobile, some of the best ones are actually designed around short sessions, and I've been collecting the ones that respect a lunch break.
What I look for is clean saving. If I can put the game down mid-fight and pick it up an hour later without penalty, that's already half the battle. Games that punish you for leaving are games I stop opening.
The other thing is a story that resumes gracefully. A quick recap when you return, characters who remind you who they are, quests that don't assume you remember every detail. Emberfall Saga does this beautifully, and it's why it stuck with me longer than bigger titles.
My advice for busy players: pick one RPG and stick with it rather than juggling three. The magic of the genre is momentum, and you build that by returning to the same world, even for ten minutes at a time.
You'll be surprised how much story you can get through in the gaps of a normal week.
