Neon Drift Circuit

★★★★☆ 4.1 Editor rating

Neon Drift Circuit doesn't care about simulation accuracy and that's exactly why it works on a phone. Tracks are tight, boosts are generous, and the drift mechanic is easy to trigger but hard to truly master. You can win by mashing, but you'll win prettier by learning the lines.

The tilt controls surprised me — they're actually responsive, and there's a touch-steering option for anyone on a bus. Races last a minute or two, which makes it perfect for filling small gaps in a day. The neon aesthetic is loud in a good way.

It runs out of new ideas eventually, and the track pool could be bigger. But for a quick hit of arcade speed, it delivers every time I pick it up.
